Today, I need to warn you about a SCAM! Lots of people are looking for ways to make money from working at home. Do NOT fall for this one!!

Global Pro Systems with Kevin & Lisa Jenkins is a total SCAM.

  • When you come across the web page, it asks for your email address to request the information.
  • It also states that the printed information package will cost you $9.95 for shipping. You need to enter your credit card information.
  • Before you ever receive the information, you are bombarded with a zillion emails from Kevin & Lisa Jenkins telling you to call them and set up your appointment with your mentor.

Scam Alert Bells Should Have Gone Off!!!

  • I received the printed information
  • I reviewed the information.
  • I was even cautious enough to check out information on the web regarding a SCAM!

After all of this, I did decide NOT to go further into this Global Pro Systems with Kevin & Lisa Jenkins and did email them my decision.

WHY you might ask?

  • The information that I read on the web from others that had checked it out showed that it was pretty much a SCAM!!
But, here is the real kicker. Today, I discovered a charge on my credit card for $39.95. It showed Kevin Jenkins. So, I called his number and left a message for him to return my call.
He did call me back and informed me that on the original web page where you sign up for the information, it says this is a 14 day free trial. So, Kevin Jenkins charged me $39.95 because I did NOT return the printed 6 page book and dvd.

Guess what?

NO where in the printed material does it state that you must return it if you do not start the program. I told Kevin Jenkins that and he referred back to that original web page and said he was sorry, but they had given me the full 14 days to return the printed material.
SUCKER!!!!!!!!!!

So, what have I done in response to the loss of my $39.95?
Well, here goes.

  1. Reported Global Pro Systems, Kevin & Lisa Jenkins to RIPOFF REPORT
  2. Took an ad on PennySaver Ads regarding Global Pro Systems & Kevin & Lisa Jenkins
  3. Posted on my Facebook account
  4. Posted on my Twitter account
  5. Posted an ad on my Craig's List account regarding Global Pro Systems & Kevin & Lisa Jenkins.
  6. Took to my blog
I will not get my money back. I learned a very valuable lesson. But guess what? I got $39.95 worth of satisfaction out of the 6 steps that I took to alert others to this SCAM!!!

Why should we wear hats

                                                          www.hats4everyone.com

Why should we wear hats?

Here are some of the reasons to wear a hat:

  • Visual Effect- The fashion of a hat can add a look of elegance and charm to almost any outfit. You might even call it the "icing on the cake", so to speak. It is an eye catcher and draws attention to the wearer in all cases. So if you want to make a statement or simply stand out in the crowd, you might consider adding a hat to your ensemble.

  • The Bad Hair Day- A hat is a perfect solution to a bad hair day. What better way to get rid of a problem than to cover it up? How else do you think we got the phrase "keep it under your hat"? It was used to cover up that nasty little secret.

  • To Prevent Hypothermia- One of the best ways to keep warm is to keep your head covered. You will be noticeably warmer if you do this simple thing.

  • To go incognito- Wearing a hat can add to a convincing disguise when you don't want to be recognized.

  • Simply to have fun- So pick out a style of hat that fits your personality and enjoy the day under the shade!

Authentic Western Hats

                                                       www.hats4everyone.com

Authentic Western Hats captures the true independent American West spirit. It is a true statement of style, function and durability.

The traditional cowboy hat is a high-crowned, wide-brimmed hat best known as the defining piece of attire for the North American cowboy. Today it is worn by many people, and is particularly associated with ranch workers in the western and southern United States. It is also worn by many country-western singers and  participants in the North American rodeo circuit. It is recognized around the world as part of Old West lore. The shape of a cowboy hat's crown and brim are often modified by the wearer for fashion and to protect against weather.
The Western Cowboy hat  is an item of apparel that can be worn in any corner of the world, and receive immediate recognition as part of North American cowboy culture.
Modern cowboy hats are made of fur-based felt, straw or less often, leather or rawhide. They are sold with a tall, rounded crown and a wide flat brim. They have a simple sweat band on the inside to stabilize the fit of the head, and usually a small decorative hat band on the outside of the crown. Hats are customized by creasing the crown and rolling the brim. Often a more decorative hat band is added. In some places, "stampede strings" or "wind strings" are also attached. Hats can be manufactured in virtually any color, but are most often seen in shades of beige, brown and black. Beginning in the 1940's, pastel colors were introduced, seen often on hats worn by movie cowboys and rodeo riders. Today's cowboy hat has remained basically unchanged in construction and design since the first one was created in 1865 by J.B. Stetson.
The choice is yours on what style of Western hat you would like to wear! We offer a large selection of Western hats which can be worn by both men and women. Visit us at www.hats4everyone.com

St. Patrick's Day from the beginning

                                                           www.hats4everyone.com

St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17, the saint's religious feast day and the anniversary of his death in the fifth century. The Irish have observed this day as a religious holiday for over 1,000 years. On St. Patrick's Day, which falls during the Christian season of Lent, Irish families would traditionally attend church in the morning and celebrate in the afternoon. Lenten prohibitions against the consumption of meat were waived and people would dance, drink and feast--on the traditional meal of Irish bacon and cabbage. Today, we enjoy corned beef and cabbage. There are several traditions that have developed over the years such as:

The Chicago River on St. Patrick's Day

As Irish immigrants spread out over the United States, other cities developed their own traditions. One of these is Chicago’s annual dyeing of the Chicago River green.  The practice started in 1962, when city pollution-control workers used dyes to trace illegal sewage discharges and realized that the green dye might provide a unique way to celebrate the holiday. That year, they released 100 pounds of green vegetable dye into the river--enough to keep it green for a week! Today, in order to minimize environmental damage, only 40 pounds of dye are used, and the river turns green for only several hours.
Although Chicago historians claim their city's idea for a river of green was original, some natives of Savannah,Georgia (whose St. Patrick's Day parade, the oldest in the nation, dates back to 1813) believe the idea originated in their town. They point out that, in 1961, a hotel restaurant manager named Tom Woolley convinced city officials to dye Savannah's river green. The experiment didn't exactly work as planned, and the water only took on a slight greenish hue. Savannah never attempted to dye its river again, but Woolley maintains (though others refute the claim) that he personally suggested the idea to Chicago's Mayor Richard J. Daley.

St. Patrick's Day Around the World

Today, people of all backgrounds celebrate St. Patrick's Day, especially throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. Although North America is home to the largest productions, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated in many other locations far from Ireland, including Japan, Singapore and Russia. The "wearing of the green" is now world wide. Along with this is the drinking of "green beer" at your local pub or tavern and don't forget the "hats" that now go along with this tradition.

Casual hats 4 everyone

                                                             www.hats4everyone.com

Casual hats come in many types for many different people. Some of the most common types that come to mind might be: OUTDOOR HATS

Fishing hats

These usually are a "baseball" type of hat made of cotton, canvas or a blend of materials to withstand some elements and abuse. They are an adjustable hat made to fit multiple different hat sizes. They will have a picture or saying on the front of the hat to depict what the hat is about. Here are some examples.

Hunting hats

These hats can be many different styles and colors but the most common color will be the camouflage or woodland camouflage. They are an adjustable hat made to fit multiple different hat sizes. Some hats can be plain while others offer a quote on the front and they are made of blended material to withstand elements and abuse. Here are two examples of possible choices.

Sports or logo hats

These hats are in the same basic style, but with many different logos or sayings on the front or sides of the hats. Whether you are showing your team spirit or your favorite beverage, these hats can tell the world exactly how you feel. Most of these hats are the "snapback" style with a rolled or flat brim. They are made in the typical 6 panel style from mesh, cotton or a blend of fabrics to withstand elements and abuse.  Normally, the logo is embroidered on the front or possible the side of the hat. Here are some examples:

Hats for women of 2013

WOMEN AND THE HATS THEY WEAR
                                                          www.hats4everyone.com

The modern woman of 2013 knows we don’t have to wear a hat, and many have decided they want to wear them.  Even if you are not a hat lover, there is still an event or occasion when you want to, or have to wear one.

  • Wide brimmed fancies are prevalent at weddings, luncheons, the races, funerals and church.
  •  Casual hats protect the skin at the beach, the park, sporting events, and for a walk around town.

The styles range from gorgeous creations to cute functionality.   For sun/rain protection, for warmth, to represent your team, for style or respect, there will always be an occasion when a hat is required.

  • Many styles of hats are unisex.  Fedoras are popular and can be dressed up for the modern woman by adding ribbons, silk flowers or scarves to transform the hat into your own personal creation. Women should add the hatband decorations to the right side.

  • Kate  Middleton wears hats, and she often wears what is called a Fascinator. That is a hat that is attached to your head with a headband.  It will virtually fit all head sizes.  As you can guess, Fascinators are very popular right now due to Kate Middleton.

  • In fashion terms, hats are a very noticeable accessory because the onlooker’s attention is first drawn to the face. A hat is the most noticeable fashion item anyone can wear.  The old saying goes 'if you want to get ahead and get noticed, then get a hat'.  Indeed the word 'ahead' means just that one head further forward.
